Its not ugly, but its certainly boring, worse than a camry.... Legacys used to be conservative but awesome, especially the GT wagons and B4 models (oh and my dads 3.0r :P ) I hope the GT model has some nice aggressive tweaks or even better STI.

Can I say this looks incredibly dull, both inside and out?
It even makes me yawn.

Easily the most attractive of the current line-up. Maybe a bit too boring. Seems like flat-fronts are in fashion again.

Not really - The Camry's the worse off.

...I think it looks quite nice. Especially for a Subaru. Looks a hell of a lot better than the Camry - I don't know where the fuck you people think it makes the Camry look good.
Also, it definitely follows the concept that Subaru showed more closely than the WRX - that's for sure.

Just had another look at the Camry, yea you're right. This design is actually growing on me, I wanna see the wagon now.

Ok, I saw these last night and was disgusted. However I can't wait to see the official unveiling because people hardly ever look at cars from the angles that these pictures are taken from... That's my glass-is-half-full approach

I lusted so much after a 2004/2005 Legacy GT (JDM was introduced in 2004)
that I saved and scrimped for almost 3 years, and then bought one.
It was the only car I wanted at the time, and I got it, albeit a used 2005 model year in 2007.
I drove that car for 7 years.
I am not impressed with this.
I love H6 engines, but aside from that, why should I get this rather than a Lincoln MKZ, or something else?
But frankly, I am not sure I'll get a traditional sedan again... trunk lids are just too practically limited, and a hatch on the back is much more versatile.

Because you can still get a Subaru Legacy with a manual transmission.

Well, it looks better than the current Legacy, although that's not saying much. This is the most flattering pic of the current car that I could find.
Unless Subaru is planning to bring the GT back to the US market though, it's not really of any interest to me. I guess we'll see.

These are definitely real, they totally match the teaser image on Subaru's site.

I'm seeing a lot of Acura TL here. I'm not sure why and it may be due to feeling like crap but that's what I'm seeing.

How am I the only who noticed that you said "Liberty" instead of "Legacy"?
Also it looks bland now....

It's called the liberty in australia.
So no you are not the only one who noticed...

Liberty, eh?
I hate when car companies call the same car something else in a different country... I just don't get it.

I checked on the subaru aussi web site, and it's the only model with a different name.
must be some other car had/has the legacy name.

This little bit of trim bothers me.

This little bit of trim also bothers me. Rework the door gap or just give us a slightly thicker C pillar.
